December 2014 Newsletter

A Great Year for Ablyss

2014 really has been one of our busiest years to date! We’ve expanded the team to include our Sales Manager, Sarah Jones and Daniel Priest has recently joined us to assist with development and support queries. We’ve had our busiest year ever for shows and even taken the steps to move into new areas that we haven’t been able to cover previously. This year we’ve exhibited at Brighton, Bath, Bristol, York, Birmingham, Dudley, Liverpool, Leeds to name a few and we plan on more of the same next year!

The tablet App for CMS has been completely redeveloped meaning that the app can not only run on a wider range of devices but it will also automatically adjust its layout and orientation to fit your screen.  We’ve also added a new menu system for system features and future development. All of this functionality is included within your licence fee at no extra cost so please do ensure that you download it and use it!

We look forward to working with you all in the years to come and we are looking forward to another successful year in 2015! We’d also like to wish you all the very best for the festive season and new year.

The Ablyss Christmas Donation

We’re delighted to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society this year in lieu of printing and sending out Christmas cards.  The Alzheimer's Society supports people in living with dementia today and funds research to find a cure for tomorrow. They rely on voluntary donations to continue their vital work.

Our donation will help the society run their Talking Point facility and pays for the service for one day.   Talking Point is an online resource which provides 24/7 support for those who are being affected by dementia in their everyday lives. We think this is a far more worthwhile use of funds than a card which will end up in the bin and hope that you agree.

Christmas Opening Hours

We’ll be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day reopening on Monday 29th December. The office will also be closed on 1st January.
